Your Experience In Detail

The speed and quality of decision-making can make or break your organization. The pandemic taught us we need to rethink how decisions are made. Learning to make decisions in the moment, with the best information we have, enables us to act with greater velocity and impact. 


In this module, you’ll:


  • Surface what holds you and others back from making decisions during uncertainty
  • Explore what it takes to lean into a decision without having all the facts
  • Practice high-velocity decision-making


In the absence of real information, people will make it up. Withholding information was never a good plan and has become even more disastrous since the pandemic. Leaders who share what they know, and don’t know create trust and transparency. 


In this module, you’ll:


  • Discover the intentional and unintentional signals you are sending to your employees or team
  • Learn how to challenge your level of vulnerability when sharing information
  • Practice the skills of transparency


The mindset of experimentation holds that things will change and perfection is a fool’s errand. Swiftly changing business conditions require fluidity and flexibility in our approaches to getting work done. Learning to take risks, try new ideas and recover from failure are imperatives for future-ready leaders.


In this module, you’ll:


  • Explore the facets of the experimentation mindset
  • Discover ways to let go of control and certainty
  • Practice integrating new beliefs around perfection


Rigid ways of working are gone. As employees emerge from the Covid Cocoon, they’re demanding new options for getting work done. As a result, nimble and agile approaches are required – and leaders who learn to lean into flexibility will win.


In this module, you’ll:


  • Discover what can be learned from the Great Resignation and how those insights relate to flexibility
  • Reflect on the discomfort of letting go of rigidity and what flexibility means for you as leader
  • Practice applying the tenants and skills of adaptability


Empathy and understanding are essential to the human experience. Employees want to know their leader cares about them as people and understands the situations they are facing. Empathy is a muscle – left unused, it atrophies. Develop it and it will become one of the most impactful skills you have as a leader.


In this module, you’ll:


  • Develop the skills required to understand and share in the emotions of others
  • Identify approaches to listening for understanding and without judgment
  • Practice the principles of authentic empathy


The longest distance is between the head and the heart. Increasing your effectiveness as a leader requires integrating the new mindsets and skills you acquired during your Leadership Incubator Experience into your DNA.
